Adobe plans 3D version of Flash

Adobe is planning to release a 3D version of its popular Flash software, allowing games and videos to be played in 3D online.

The news has broken ahead of the Adobe Max conference in October. The agenda for the conference includes a presentation titled "Flash Player 3D future".

Flash is an internet multimedia programme that allows video, animation and games to be played online. Adobe estimates that between 92 and 95 per cent of all internet desktop users have the latest version of the Flash Player installed, and 99 per cent have one version or another.
